Morning Light and Milestones | Diego’s Senior Session
Some sessions just feel golden before they even begin—and Diego’s was exactly that.
We met early on the ranch, while the town was still quiet and the clouds hung low. I’ve always loved shooting in the golden hour, but this morning light had a quiet kind of masterpiece—the kind that gives a gallery depth and soul. The early light, the cloud cover, the landscape... it was everything I didn’t know I needed for this session.
From the very beginning, Diego showed up with his style and I gave him my ideas, intention, and I am always present with everything they’ve accomplished— I feel that makes every frame feel natural. We grabbed it all: his letterman jacket, the trophies that tell stories of dedication, and the open field that holds so many of his memories. After we got stills and also some movement images we made our way to the stadium—where the stands and turf seemed to give us the best backdrop for his jersey and trophies.
As quarterback for Carrizo Springs High School’s Varsity Football team, Diego isn’t just a leader on the field—he is loved by the entire community. There’s a calm strength about him. Humble. Focused. Encouraging. And so deeply grounded.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
– Matthew 5:16
It’s a verse that speaks volumes about Diego. His light isn't just talent—it’s the way he treats people, the example he sets, and the quiet kindness that sticks with you.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
– Galatians 6:9
Diego’s story—resilience rooted in purpose. A life lived with intention. Your future is bright not just because of what you’ve done—but because of who you are. I can’t wait to see what God writes in your next chapter. This is only the beginning.
