Pitcher of the Past, Vision for the Future | Scott – Class of 2025
Scott’s senior session was one I won’t forget. 2025 CCHS Graduate Scott has had a glove in his hand and a heart for the game for as long as he can remember. From his early days on the field to becoming a pitcher and shortstop for his HS team, baseball isn’t just a sport for Scott—it’s part of his life.
We started his shoot outdoors, blending natural light with rustic textures—an “in-studio” vibe with an awesome scene. It’s one of my favorite ways to shoot because it allows me to get creative while still keeping everything timeless and real. I always tend to lean into a monochromatic palette.
The highlight of the shoot? The tribute to his baseball journey. Scott brought along a custom ball marked “C/O 2025,” a nod to the years of grit and glory behind him. His trophies—earned alongside teammates and friends—are reminders of the best memories made under stadium lights and dusty diamonds. One of my favorite images was the one of Scott including a photo of his younger self. Perfect touch to the shoot.
We wrapped up the evening at the high school, capturing clean, classic portraits in his letterman jacket—the perfect combination of youth, tradition, and legacy. Every detail of this session was intentional because that’s how his legacy should be honored.
Scott, you are a dope soul to photograph—quietly strong, incredibly talented, creative and so respectful. I have no doubt the next chapter will be just as golden.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
—Isaiah 40:31
And what a season this has been.
