A Summer of Sweet Celebrations: Ien Turns One & Emarie Turns Five

This time last year, we were capturing moments of the Salinas Family and Emarie’s 4th birthday and a season of joyful anticipation—waiting on a little miracle named Ien. And now, here we are, fast-forwarded into the heart of Summer, celebrating not one but two sweet milestones: Ien’s very first birthday and Emarie’s fifth!

It’s such a gift to witness a family grow—not just in size, but in love, confidence, and connection. This session radiated those exact feelings. The blush pink dresses and the energy in the air, it felt like the perfect blend of elegance and ease. Ien has brought so much light into this family’s life—he is cherished, adored, and undeniably the blessing they prayed for.

Emarie, in her ruffled gown and princess crown, embraced big sisterhood with sweetness. As I reflect on this session, I’m reminded that the colors that keep showing up for me lately —blue, green, and pink. They represent peace, growth, and joy. And this family embodied them all.
