Mendoza Cousins | A Reenactment Session!

We returned to a place that holds memories—especially when it’s with the people you made them with. For the Mendoza cousins, the football field is never just a backdrop. It was a place where their childhood holds laughs. We brought them back here for a milestone session and it felt more like a joyful reunion than a photo shoot. It was an amazing feeling to see how much they have grown and matured and embraced their personalities.

As they stepped onto the field wearing their new "Class of 2032" shirts and I was loving the crisp whites this time around. It’s clear these kiddos aren’t just growing up together, they’re growing with one another. We grabbed not just portraits, but personality. Sibling-like bonds, playful, and genuine joy filled every frame.

They may not realize it now, but these images are chapters of their shared story. The pre-teen years where friendship and family are one and the same. All the ways they leaned on one another—all proof that the Mendoza legacy runs deep.

I loved seeing each of them shine in their own way, whether it was holding their favorite sports gear or goofing off with a cousin who just gets them. This session was a reminder that before the formal senior portraits come, these moments matter too—the ones where life is unscripted and bonds are unbreakable.

May they always come back to each other—through every season, every win, and every new beginning.

“A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” — Proverbs 17:17

To the Mendoza cousins—may your bond always feel like home. 💛
