A Ranch Christmas with Katie and the kiddos, Jayden + Zoe. + the puppies!

There’s something extra special about sessions out at Katie’s ranch—it’s peaceful, personal, and the kind of place where memories root deep like the trees on her land. Every year, I look forward to seeing what Katie has in mind for her family portraits, and this year’s holiday look was no exception—she absolutely brought it. That signature green dress, the little details, and of course, those pups with bows—purely whimsical.

Photographing this family has always been a joy, but this session felt especially meaningful. Jayden is getting older now, growing into a young man with quiet confidence and the same cowboy heart he’s always had. I’m so thankful Katie made the time to schedule this in—to freeze this age, this season, this chapter. Zoe, as always, brought her sparkle, charm, and big personality to the lens. These two are humble, kind, and so uniquely themselves—a reflection of the hard work and heart their mama pours into them daily.

Watching them grow up over the years has been an honor. These aren’t just pictures; they’re heirlooms of love, tradition, and the beauty of a family rooted in faith and resilience.
