Karicia’s Graduation Session at St. Mary’s University
Karicia has grown into the amazing woman she is now— she’s been in front of my lens since 7th grade, and she is radiating with confidence and grace as she graduates from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. This session felt like a full-circle moment, a glimpse of how far she’s come, and a celebration of the woman she’s wanting to and is becoming.
Karicia came into this session with a clear vision: something timeless, clean, and classy. And if you know me, you know how much I love a minimal, unique and elevated session—this one hit every mark. Her elegant dress to the delicate lace and pearl heels, every detail was thoughtfully styled and perfectly her.
One of my favorite touches was the custom champagne bottle she designed—it’s such a creative idea and I encourage it to be a piece to include for my upcoming grad ladies. She also brought meaningful touches that spoke to her journey at St. Mary’s—like her sorority stole and gavel, celebrating her leadership as Chapter President and her role in the Class of 2025.
The light that day was soft and calm, the kind of glow photographers dream about. The historic charm of campus served as the perfect backdrop, and the energy in the air was great. We crossed paths with other graduates and families—everyone honoring hard work, sacrifice, and answered prayers.
Karicia, thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful chapter of your story. You’ve always brought beauty, heart, and intention to every session, and this one was no exception. I can't wait to see where your journey takes you next—whether it’s your career, new adventures, or simply moments worth celebrating.
May you carry this promise in your heart as you step into all that’s ahead:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.”
– Jeremiah 29:11
Congratulations, Karicia. You were made for moments like this—and so many more to come.
